Available to rent for the first time ever, Casa Mira is a truly unique property on Bonaire. Located in the exclusive and private neighborhood of Sabadeco Shores on Bonaire, Casa Mira is an oceanfront 3-bedroom, 3.5 bathroom that's tucked away on a quiet and private street and surrounded by a natural landscape where hummingbirds and Lara's abound. It's designed in the Antillean style with a large, covered porch, a spacious sundeck and a large, mature, garden full of local and indigenous plants and trees. The architecture of the villa is traditional and beautifully situated to blend in with the landscape and to capture the trade winds, which keep the house and porch cool all year. The inside of the villa features clean, modern lines, teak wood flooring throughout, and contemporary designer furniture both inside and out. The European bathrooms are tiled, with walk-in showers and a full-sized bathtub in the Master Bedroom.
At Casa Mira you'll be well away from the hustle and bustle of cruise ships and tourists, yet only a 5-minute drive to the nearest grocery store, banks, shopping and dining in Hato. For divers, the villa has direct, private access to the ocean via a concrete footpath and stairs that lead through the breathtaking green zone. Get in and out of the water by use of aluminum stairs, giving you direct access to Oil Slick Leap to the North and Barkadera to the South. Jump in the car, and head 3 minutes South to dive Andrea I & II or 5-minutes North if you've got the stamina for 1,000 Steps!
Casa Mira is a labor of love, custom designed to maximize outdoor living, privacy, and ocean views. It's situated up from the ocean on a bluff that overlooks a protected garden lot filled with native shrubs, trees, and vegetation - drawing all of Bonaire's best birds and critters. Sip your morning coffee while Lora's play in nearby trees and hummingbirds feed from crimson Cardinal flowers.
If you love land and sea, are a diver or an explorer, respect our earth, and feel a flutter in your stomach when you see an emerald hummingbird alight on a cactus flower, then Casa Mira is the place for you.
