In 1997 this plantation house was converted into a small budget hotel and restaurant that prides itself on its non-conformist atmosphere and personalized service for a laid back vacation. Landhuis Daniel sits in the countryside in the center of the island of Curacao within driving distance of the islands’ finest beaches and diving sites.
The hotel has eight rooms with private bathrooms. The rooms are located in two separate buildings on the property, one building is the former plantation house and the other is the former servant’s quarters. The rooms are surrounded by tropical gardens providing a truly peaceful and Caribbean atmosphere away from the large hotels and shops of the town center.
Landhuis Daniel has an on-site restaurant and bar serving breakfast, lunch and dinner in a bistro-type setting and is a popular place for Curacao locals. The hotel also has a scuba diving shop nearby for access to courses and equipment.
