The tour starts at a beautiful cigar shop where you have a chance to sample one of their freshly made cigars rolled right in front of you! From there, we will introduce you to your horse and mount up for your ride.
The horseback ride travels down the mountain path and then follows along the scenic Anamuya River with many chances for great photo opportunities as well as learning about the fauna and the history of the area. There are plenty of opportunities for some speed if desired on your horseback ride, or you can take the relaxed route with just walking or trotting. We customize each and every ride to the level of experience for each of our riders.
We make way to our enchanting secluded ranch for more adventure or you can continue your horseback experience by adding on a cattle drive. Head ém up and move ém out as you help herd our cattle or horses to alternate pastures in the old fashioned way, by horseback. Practice your cowboy hoot 'n holler as you wrangle the herd along the beautiful scenery not found in the resort areas. You don't need any riding experience for this adventure, we show you everything you need to know to experience this thrill of a lifetime.
Once back at the ranch it’s time to get your adrenaline pumping as you soar back across the river on our super safe and fun, double cable zip lines viewing the gorgeous scenery from a different perspective. Our professional guides will instruct you and assist you through every part of your zip line adventure. You can go as many times as you like or if you prefer, you can remain at the ranch and take photos of others. It's your day, have as much adventure or relaxation as you like!
All this fun works up an appetite so we've prepared an amazing Dominican feast for you to enjoy, complete with coffee fresh from the ranch. We serve a wide variety of local recipes cooked to our Canadian standards for a meal that will be sure to please even picky eaters.
After you are full, it's time for a tour of the many varieties of plants found on our ranch including cocoa, coffee and vanilla. We will show you how cocoa is processed and of course, there are plenty of fresh samples!
All of this makes for a complete day of adventure and learning in the Dominican Republic in a safe and friendly environment.
