This bed and breakfast by the Caribbean Sea is located on the beautiful beaches of Isla Mujeres. With white powdery sand, clear turquoise waters and year-round perfect weather, it is clear why people from all over the world come to this small narrow island off the coast of the Yucatan Peninsula and Cancun. On the island there is an array of activities that guests can partake in. In the far south are the ancient Mayan ruins. On the northern tip is the famous and beautiful Playa Norte Beach and for better waves and more swimming the Playos and Indios beaches are back to the south. Whichever direction of the island you choose it will be close because it is only 4 miles long.
This luxurious hotel has no internet and TV so you truly get a break from life in the fast-lane. There are however, a pool, lounge chairs, swinging chairs and hammocks for you to relax on. There is also a swing bar, which is a bar where instead of stools as seats there are hanging swings and also where, “Beer is sold till it’ll make your teeth hurt,” as the sign says. The exterior of this luxury hotel is reminiscent of a Dr. Seuss book, with bright colors and crazy shapes in every direction.
At this romantic hotel there are only 6 rooms and each of them is zanier then the last. Some of the roofs are palm tree leafs, some have skylights and all have loud colors and cool furnishings. All the rooms have mini-fridges and 4 of the 6 have air conditioning. The honey-moon suite has a large walk out deck and of course a colorful room and bedspread.
