Boasting a prime western location in tropical Negril on the island of Jamaica, the Rhodes Resort offers a stunning vacation treat for nature lovers. Secluded and intimate, the resort is just a few miles from the main beach at Negril and the markets and restaurants of the downtown area.
A working plantation with historic roots, the resort flourishes with beautiful island species and holiday enjoyment. The gardens cover 550 acres and grow fruits, vegetables, herbs alongside the fishponds and horses. Guests can enjoy lounging on the sun decks next to the infinity pool, playing a few games of soccer, or trying massages and spa treatments. The helpful staff can arrange waterfall hikes, golf, and cave tours. Two restaurants and a bar serve Jamaican and international fusion dishes along with traditional Red Stripe beer and cocktails on the sky-deck. These venues often host nighttime entertainment.
There are 22 rooms, villas and suites at the hotel, all of which feature ocean views and have individually selected décor inspired by the islands. Original artwork hangs on the walls, while the furniture was crafted on-site using found materials. Several rooms have a kitchenette or full kitchen, and all have verandas, air conditioning, refrigerators, and cable television. Two contain a private whirlpool. Up to four rooms can be joined together for larger parties to create a living and dining area for extended stays.
