After serving his country overseas, Captain Dan worked in corporate America for nearly 20 years prior to moving to Key Largo. During that time, he enjoyed traveling to dive but left the corporate world to spend more time with family.
He is both the owner and captain of the Underwater Cowboy. Before going out on his own, he worked at the largest dive shop in the US as the lead captain. When he is not driving the Underwater Cowboy, he is often training captains or running large fishing boats.
Captain Dan enjoys teaching both students and dive professionals and takes pride in ensuring his customers are happy, safe, and trained to dive. He is an exceptional guide, fisherman, and boat captain that will show you to the best spots in the keys!
He lives in Key Largo with his fiancé and their dogs.
