Made of one of the strongest and densest woods known, Lignum Vitae, the house has survived because of this wood and because of its continuing inhabitants. The hotel is set at 800 feet above sea level on the hillsides of Mt. Nevis. Several Caribbean-style cottages are spread throughout the property as well as a pool and a dining area. A quiet beach is only a 15 minute shuttle-drive away. For other activities on your vacation, you will find a tennis court, an escorted carriage ride through the historical village of Gingerland, and a farm with animals for the whole family.
There are 15 pastel-colored cottages spread throughout the lush landscape of tropical fruit trees and beautifully manicured lawns. Each cottage is decorated with period furnishings and canopy beds.
