Scattered along the long winding garden paths, the simple 24 cabana rooms can be found. They are constructed in a rustic ajoupa style with thatched roofs and polished teak floors. The rooms are spacious and peaceful and simply decorated with bamboo wicker furniture.
The clear waters and clean sands of Store Bay are just a short walk away. On your return from a day at the beach, the hammock area is a wonderful place for a quiet read or snooze and the Jacuzzi and waterfall nearby for a cooling dip. Hours can be spent each day swinging in the hammocks, lounging and being at peace in the lush, tranquil grounds of the hotel.
The Kariwak has a special Caribbean ambience, making both visitors and local residents feel welcome. It is known for its holistic approach to a vacation and early morning yoga and tai chi classes are offered for the perfect way to start your day in Tobago. Fresh herbs and produce grown on the hotel grounds are utilised in all the meals with the menu revolving around local Island dishes and recipes.
