Situated on the north side of the island of Virgin Gorda, the Leverick Bay Resort provides affordable accommodations, an extensive array of on-site activities, and a full marina. Offering both hotel rooms and more expansive suites, Leverick Bay caters to both families and couples looking for a quiet getaway or a tropical beach vacation.
Leverick Bay contains many of the features and services of more expensive hotels. A restaurant, gift shop, spa, dive shop, marina, and even an art gallery are available on the resort grounds. The marina provides full service with 36 moorings and 20 slips. Some may choose to stay the night on their own boat, but come ashore to take advantage of Leverick Bay's restaurant and spa.
Basic rooms at the resort have air conditioning, television, phone and a balcony. Suites offer a full kitchen, living room, and wraparound terrace. During the day, guests can enjoy any number of activities including parasailing, powerboats, and other watersports. A full service dive shop provides tours and certification courses.
Leverick Bay is an affordable alternative to other resorts and hotels offering more expensive accommodations, but similar amenities. For those looking for expansive private beaches at their doorstep the Leverick Bay may not be the best choice. However, as one of only a few to offer a full marina and so many on-site facilities the Leverick Bay is a smart choice for a holiday in the British Virgin Islands.
Price Range- From $119-$149 per night hotel; From $1,666 - $2,499 per week for suites
