To travel to Harbour Island, most visitors fly into North Eleuthera Airport from Florida or Nassau. From Eleuthera, Harbour Island is a 10 minute water taxi journey away. There are also ferries from Nassau that travel to Eleuthera and Harbour Island. Private and rented sail boats and motor boats can travel direct to the island from within the Bahamas.
